You directly provide our Organisation with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register to compete in or attend the Competition.

  • Complete a survey or provide feedback about the Competition.

  • Sign up to our mailing list to receive information about the Competition and associated activities of our supporters.

  • Participate in sessions during the Competition events held either in-person or online.

  • Browse the Competition website and consent to the use of browser cookies.

How will we use your data?

Our Organisation collects your data so that we can:

  • Register you to compete in-person or virtually in the Competition. This involves sharing required information with the event host or virtual platform.

  • For anonymised statistical data that may be used in future presentations or documents shared to promote the Competition. You will only be attributed if explicit consent is given.

  • To provide Competition packs to the attendees.

  • For other promotional purposes to support the growth of the Competition.

How do we store your data?

Our Organisation securely stores your data in our online service providers (such as Microsoft OneDrive), which are protected using multi-factor authentication where possible. The data will only be downloaded onto password secured hardware to process.

Our organisation will keep your data indefinitely. We will delete data, where it is deemed to have not been used for 24-months.

You have the right, at any time without reason, to stop our Organisation from using your data or to remove it completely. However, this may affect your ability to participate in the competition.
