CyberMedici Ltd (‘our Organisation’) is the UK-based organisation that runs the Cyber Leaders Challenge (‘the Competition’). Other analytics data created by CLC services e.g. engagement with mailing list

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide our Organisation with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

Complete a survey or provide feedback about the Competition.

Participate in sessions during the Competition events held either in-person or online.

Browse the Competition website and consent to the use of browser cookies.

How will we use your data?

Our Organisation collects your data so that we can:

Register you to compete in-person or virtually in the Competition. This involves sharing required information with the event host or virtual platform.
For anonymised statistical data that may be used in future presentations or documents shared to promote the Competition. You will only be attributed if explicit consent is given.
To provide Competition packs to the attendees.
For other promotional purposes to support the growth of the Competition, including through email marketing on our CRM Platform (Brevo).

How do we store your data?

Our Organisation securely stores your data with our third-party online service providers, which are protected using multi-factor authentication where possible. Third-party services include Brevo (mailing list & CRM), Bubble.io (application & events platform), Microsoft Services (such as OneDrive & Teams) and Canva (design assets).

Data may be downloaded onto password secured personal laptops used by the CLC team for legitimate use as part of the competition. Data may be shared with event hosts & supporters, where required and where explicit permission is provided. Data is only provided to our supporters where specific, explicit permission is provided.

Our organisation will keep your data indefinitely. We will delete data, where it is deemed to have not been used for 24-months. You have the right, at any time without reason, to stop our Organisation from using your data or to remove it completely. However, this may affect your ability to participate in the Competition.

Our Organisation would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights.
